Picked up a high mileage unit, 321000 miles on it and found out it wasn't the bargain I hoped for. I had to replace head gaskets, so I did in my parent's shop over the course of a month.

So, heres a picture

I hope you did more than just the head gaskets - a 6.0 needs studs and deletes to have a prayer of running long and well.

Mixed oil and coolant on my finger, I was bummed.

I bought the truck with egr delete, arp studs, New hpop, radiator, intercooler, water pump, oil cooler (I replaced again) so I felt I was getting a good shake on the deal. Come to find out the head gaskets were bad and they were the black onyx gaskets that I guess were garbage.

I chose to try out FelPro brand gaskets, I realize they're new to the 6.0 scene and oem has a good reputation.
