Me and some buddies are going to the US in mid march and I have been told you could rent anything in America, so hereīs the question...

Could I rent a stickshift dually crewcab 7,3 diesel? I do not mind if itīs slightly beefed up ;)

I will be able to both rent and return it in Miami or Vegas since we will be flying in between.

:bounce2:

If you know of a place or someone please respond!

Cheers!

I *HIGHLY* doubt it. The last year of the 7.3 was 2003. You are going to have a very hard time finding ANYTHING with a stick shift to rent. In fact, 2010 was the last year any Ford truck had a stick shift available. Rental fleets here are almost 100% automatic only and I doubt you would be able to find a crew cab dually diesel truck of any brand for rent.

won't find that combo at the Rental Companies - Enterprise, Hertz, Avis

I've rented Pick-ups from Enterprise, they usually carry 1/2 ton Dodge 4 door, with HEMI & auto trans; which I think is fun to drive

sounds like an opportunity to pick up an old Harley and ship it back for some heavy profit

had a guy from Pello Finland buy one of mine

I just happen to have another for sale,

I have thought about shipping something over here, but due to the strong dollar and weak sek thereīs no point at the moment. Though Iīm always on the hunt for a stickshift dually crewcab 7,3 powerstroke for personal use ;) No matter the currency status...

2003 was the last year of the 7.3, and the vast majority of them had automatics.
