Hello, I'm having trouble with the rear brakes on a 2000 f350 dually. After installing new calipers and rotors, the caliper rubs the outside of the rotor. I have double checked with two Carquest stores to make sure I have the correct parts. I've also made sure that the hub is inboard as far as possible. If I shim the caliper bracket away from the mount 1/4 inch everything looks good but I know this can't be correct. Any ideas?

go to a different store and see what they have
even if they are looking up the part correct the part # your getting is incorrect

can you visually see a difference be holding them in your hand
and if it's off that much a tape measure may help you get the correct part

So I went to the local ford dealer, I am having the same issue with their caliper rubbing the rotor. I already turned my old calipers in for cores so I have no way to compare. The only other thing it could be is they gave me the wrong rotors but they measure the same as the old ones. Not sure what to do now?
