1969 f100 240 ignition issues
Recently bought this truck a old Montana forest service truck.It ran when I got it, but not very well. I put a new carb on it and it was running pretty good. I drove it 20 miles, shut it down for 5 minutes and it would not restart. After a 65 dollar tow bill got it home. I did not have any spark. It had point conversion dynalife solid state kit so I took that out and put the old points back in that were in the glove box. I did get the truck to start, but it is only firing on cylinder 1 and 5. New plugs and coil. Power at coil is 6-7 volts. New battery. Not sure what is going on. Do I have a low voltage issue, bad plug wires and bad distributor? There is not that much to it, but haven't figured it out yet.

I believe that's normal - there is a ballast resistor that drops the voltage after it starts. I'd change the plug wires, cap, and rotor on general principles.
