So I asked about this on my secret facebook places about obs trucks haha
I know more have done it, but anyways this is one way.
Used a piece of welding wire that's the same thickness as stock and just extended the float 4 inches from a stock 19 gallon sender

I called O'Rielly's and yhey looked and looked through everthing they had. The result? Can't get a Bronco 33 or 38 gal sending unit for a factory gauge. Russo, thanks for the pic and details I'll sgow this to the "old, set in his ways, man" and he can see that a welding rod or coat hangar is the obvious no money choice. Thanks bud!!

Case closed! I showed my dad the pic you posted Russo and he was like "well shit! Why are we spending money!?" I tried to explain it to him and i guess all he needed was a pic. I did tell him we should at least get a new float just to be on the safe side, im not wanting to take that tank out twice. He agreed with that. Maybe i'll do a write up with pics in case anyone else needs it.

I appreciate it more than anything. My old man is on a fixed income now and he wants to spend money like when he was a contractor. I dont blame him really, he just wants it right. You did us both a favor. Thanks again.
