Default 1985 f150 rims

hello. I have a 1985 shortbed 2wd f150. looking to put 2001 Lightning rims on the truck. will the pattern fit? thank u.

The pattern will not fit. The 85 has a is a 1/2" stud with a 5 x 5.5" lug pattern. The 2001 lightning uses a 14mm stud with a 5 x 135mm lug pattern. If you REALLY want to use those wheels, you can get yourself some early model lightning axles which are 12mm lugs, but 5 x 135mm, and open the lug holes a touch to fit the larger lugs.
