Sounds like a bad ground or bad connection in the plug in. For all I know, it could be a bad bulb

Lowriders are for guys who can't get it up!

I have always replaced headlights in pairs to avoid this problem. Is it posible that one is older than the other?

Aside from the grounds, check the connectors and wiring for corrosion.
