Default So, driving down the road I saw...

This:

Who the heck is Lance and what's he doing in MY pants? If you were a girl, I guess this would be OK, but... not for me, thanks. I think they're gonna need to change their slogan on this one.

And on the same trip... I get passed by this thing:

From the badging I saw, it's an XLT with a 4.6L V8. And it didn't look like it had a front axle, so therefore it's a 4x2. He must have had his rear bumper painted black or stole one off an XL. I mean, it looked OK, but it just seems retarded... Like lowering a 4x4.... really? I can understand lowering a 4x2... but then again, he does have Baylor on his truck, so methinks he's in college... trying to impress the ladies.

Whatever. Just one of those things that konfuses me.

I like that truck. I really see nothing wrong with lifting any truck, maybe it's a street queen mall crawler? Most lifted 44x4's never go anywhere to need 4 wheel drive.
I think lowering any truck is dumb.
And get lance out of my pants!

i lifted my 2wd. need the ground clearance but not the 4wd and honestly don't want to pay for the 4wd when i wont need or use it. oh yeah, my 2wd lift gives me more ground clearance where i need it and was cheaper all around then to buy the 4wd and lift it. Gear sets are also cheaper cause i'm only buying one. less bearings, seals, lube to mess as well.

just say'n. if your someone that can honestly say you wont be using 4wd but can use the ground clearance then go with a 2wd with a little lift and bigger tire for less money. doesn't seem that retarded to me?
