RPM issue & starting issue
Hi,
Has anyone ever had this problem? When I pull away from a stop and shift into second gear (or shifting into any gear) I push the clutch in but the RPM's do not drop. As a result I get a clunk when the clutch engages. Doesn't matter what the RPM's are. It does it at any RPM range
My starting issue is intermittent. When the truck seems to be at an incline with the nose higher than the back it won't start. Had it towed to a garage twice and it started fine both times when it came off the tow truck. As a result the machanic can't tell me anything. Can anyone help me?

Without knowing what engine you are working with, I'd start with the TPS. Tell me what engine you are working with and I'll tell you how to test the TPS. If the TPS tests good, manually move the throttle linkage and make sure it's not getting hung up.
