I think I used Rustoleums' White primer on the stRanger. Around the rear window moulding where the previous owner, and I, placed caulking to stop the notorius leak.

I think I might be doing this here pretty soon. Depending on what color of fenders I end up finding I might just hit everything with some spray cans. Or if time and money allow spray the whole thing with some IH red tractor paint.

When it was applied and after I sanded it it is still a lighter shade than what the cap color was.. I've gotta go to the pull a part and get some better rust free front fenders and grille pieces, I'm thinking of sanding the fenders I plan on getting and hitting them w/ some of this primer depending upon if they are rusty or paint faded like my hood was.

Big Blue79 look at my build thread I'm using Primer & paint (Rustoleum Ultimate Finish)
2 or 3 coat of primer sanding between coats and flat black paint. everthing black is rustoleum. can't talk about any other manuf. But I love Rustoleum. I'm doing My fenders now. also under neath all the gray/silver is hammer matel from Rustoleum. that stuff is tuff. You may look at doing your wheels with that. Thay have all different colors for it also.
