Default 1969 F250 4x4 Crew Cab

Hello all! New guy here to the forum, so I thought I'd break the ice here in the bumpside forum and toss up a pic of my truck.

As the title states, it's a 1969 F250 4x4 Crew (six man cab in the special order options newsletter for 1969). It has all the original running gear (360, 4 speed, 2 speed t-case, dana 60 rear and dana 44 hd front). It had already had a power brake booster added when I bought it, and I went ahead and installed a factory power steering assist setup a little while later. Other than that it's got headers with 2.25" exhaust, h-pipe, spintech prostreet mufflers, and 3.5" slash cut tips. It sounds GREAT! The factory white paint was starting to crack and chip, so I went around and knocked off all the loose stuff andapplied the olive drab, just to keep it from rusting until I can afford to do the body right.

They are pretty rare; from what I've researched there were about 641 built for 1969. This one was a Nevada Dept. of Energy truck originally, then ended up working for the forestry dept in California. I bought it from a guy in Cali and had it shipped here to St. Louis. That's about the only way to get a rust free highboy around these parts.

Oh, and btw that is the factory ride height on 33x12.50 16.5" tires for anyone who is interested.
