PVC pipe won't work, never seen 2 1/2" or 2 3/4"sch 40 or 80 PVC pipe; it goes from 2" to 3 "
2" OD is a hair over 2 3/8" - ID is 2"
2" coupling OD is a hair under 2 3/4" - ID is a hair over 2 3/8"

now if you search high & low you might find 2 1/2" PVC electrical conduit that may work

I got 2" schedule 40 and a cap, plus the seal.

Timken seal, Part No. 331107N, can be seen in the Last pic, cost here is $6.19, this is the front pump seal also known as torque converter seal, that's what it's called if you look for the seal, different companies calling the same seal 2 different names.:

Autozone sells the Timken seal.
