Exclamation 1954 ford golden jubilee tractor <OIL>

i need to do an oil chainge on my 54 jubilee tractor and am thinking what will work best. i want a thick oil but i don't now how that will preform in the heat . its in the triple digits rite now and it gets hot so should i stick to a lighter weight. 5w-30 10w-40 40 weight. how would synthetic do in a 60 year old motor.
