Default Introduction

Thanks for the invite. I have recently purchased a 1989 F150 XLT Lariat, with that 83k miles. Purchased out of necessity, my daughter's 02 beetle was giving us trouble so she borrowed my 01 explorer sport. I quickly fell in love with this truck, drove it from Bloomsburg pa, to Gainesville game, and back with no issues at all! Fuel mileage was only 15mpg. Is this norm, as to be expected with a4.9, efi, 4speed w/od, and 3.55 rearend?

Central Florida welcomes you to the club. Never had a 4.9, but that sounds better then what i was getting with a 302.
