Default Weird wobble in the front, advice needed.

I've been experiencing a wobble that is somewhat similar to the "Death Wobble", however the steering wheel almost teeters over from one side to the other and when you try to center the steering while it bolts over to the opposite side. This happens usually around when you start up and begin to drive. I usually just pull over and max out the turning to both sides and it seems to almost realign and drive straight, I also do have a lot of play in steering wheel. I have no idea if this is related or not but there is a type of grinding noise coming from the front right tire i believe that begins around 20-25 mph and sounds like metal on metal I believe to be the differentials. Anyways if anyone can help offer a little advice that'd be great. Thanks!

I'd get it into a front end shop and at least have it looked at. That doesn't sound good at all. I suspect some worn, loose parts and possibly bad wheel bearings.

1) verify your front differential is inactive, if the front diff is spinning and you have worn u-joints in the knuckles you'll get some weird binding feedback.

2) make sure a hub isn't dragging creating that grinding noise.

3)When the right front is lifted, grab and shake the RF wheel and do it at multiple different angles. left to right can indicate tie rods, up and down can mean ball joints, if both of those and diagonal allow movement/slop then you're probably looking at wheel bearing instead.

4) Steering gear can be adjusted "some" if you can determine if you have a worn worm gear in it, try estimating how much side to side "slop" you can get out of it while sitting without the truck running. remember you'll also feel some play from tie rods.
