Let me tell you, what a difference so far. I have only driven local but I already like the fact that the truck doesnt bounce as much when I hit bumps. Today I will take it for a long trip to see exactly how it feels with the sway bar.

OK did a 2 hour test run over the weekend...

I went down the NJ TRNPK, crossed the Staten Island EXPWY, and then into Brooklyn, NY and back. That trip has some of the bumpiest roads you will find and at high speeds in my truck, can really suck. At times when driving 60 - 70 mph in my truck, if I were to hit a bump in the road, it would throw the truck over a good amount. To be honest, a dangerous amount.

I always thought it was due to Fords poorly designed front end, the TTB front end. After installing the Hellwig products sway bar on my rear Ford 8.8 axle, I was shocked to say the least. The truck handled perfectly. Bumps were no match for this truck at high speeds anymore. I will do a write-up in greater detail, just wanted to give you all the inside scoop.

If you are ever in the market for a sway bar and I suggest you get one, especially in the rear if you can only afford one, you need to check out Hellwig products and their full line of sway bars. After the difference I felt, a sway bar should be one of the first mods you do, along with a cold air intake system, exhaust and tuner. It will be worth every penny when your truck handles like a sports car for under 250 dollars.
