Default wiper woes

Hi you all,

New member here - 2000 F250 Super Duty gas V8

When I turn wipers to intermittent, they move about 6" and stop for a random period - then move again and stop, etc, etc. They work fine on slow and fast speeds, but drive me crazy on intermittent.

Anyone else experienced this? Where do I start?

Thanks for any help.

first thing that comes to mind
bad switch
bad electrical connection, go to the motor and jiggle the wires you may see one loose
I would say check fuse but I would think the wipers only have one fuse
