Nice swap! Is it a stock 460?

We have a few guys that have done some swaps. I'm sure they will reply soon!

That is a pretty big job, truthfully. You'll need a new transmission, new drive shaft, new engine crossmember, a remote mount oil filter, and thats just off the top of my head. Are you wanting to stay fuel injected or swap over to carb? Automatic or 5 speed?

Are you going to use the transmission out of the van? I'm not sure if the frames are the same size, which matters since you need the crossmembers and driveshaft.

He'll need a remote transmission controller if he's using his stock tranny and a Lokar shifter cable to use kickdown IIRC.

I have put a small block in a 86 ranger with a c6 behind it. Right now I am working on putting a small block in a 81 mustang that will have a c4 behind it. In 88 SVT did some f150s with 460s in them .I saw those at a Ford swap meet in Michigan that year.

The 460 is a big block engine, a 302 is a small block engine, the bell housing is different and will not bolt up.

Blue, there would be no kickdown cable if he was using and electronic transmission, and he would only need the controller if it were an electronic transmission. He'd need one or the other, not both. That's if he could use the transmission out of his 94, which he can't.
