Default Bio-Diesel

Anyone had any experience running above the recommended percentages of Bio-Diesel in the New 6.7?

Hey 1hotdj, I have run the B20 in my 2011 and I can't really tell any difference except the price it can be up .10 a gallon cheaper but usually about only .05 cents a gallon. On my new truck you don't get the smoke or exhaust smoke and that is because the DEF aditive. Since its cheaper I like I can't tell any difference in performance.

Sorry it's been awhile since I've had time to get on the computer, but we've been busy.
DOT has made it tough on owning a
F-350 with a 13,300 GVWR and the trailer we pull has a 14,000 GVWR combined is 27,300 GVWR and I had to get a Class A CDL because we are over the 26,001 GVWR allowed with a regular Drivers license. Plus a little info for all of you who pull trailers, anything with a combined weight of 10,001 or more are required to go through the weigh stations. I found out the hard way. $250.00 fine and 2 points on my license for passing a weigh station. I won't be doing that again! Anyway, I make my own Bio-Diesel and have been running 50% Bio and 50% Diesel. 8500 miles and NO Problems. Took it in for the 5000 mile service and all was fine. We took the truck out west and averaged 18.5 mpg pulling a flat bed trailer with a 4 wheeler on it. not bad!

Going to try running B100 for awhile before winter gets here. I've got a trip to take to Gilbert, WV for trailfest that starts October 6th to the 10th. ATV's everywhere in Gilbert.
I hope it runs on the Bio as it does on a 50/50 blend. I guess I'' find out.
