my first Truck was A '63 F100 step side with 223, the 223 only came in 1/2 short wheelbase trucks

the 292 Y block is an awsome engine and came with a forged steel crank
the crank was often used for stroking the 289

Found the production numbers from two different guys and they both had the same answers.
1963 F100 4WD production figures:

Cab & Chassis: 179 / Flareside Pickup: 967 / Styleside Pickup: 2,809.

stick around, we could use some member's with earlier model trucks, and you never know, you might get nominated for TOTM(Truck of the Month)!

Thank you LilBit4x4! If only my truck looked as good as yours!!! Got alot of time and elbow grease until I get it where it needs to be but I'm happy to have it. Pretty rare find and I'm proud to own it.

Thats a cool truck, I never knew there was so much interest in them, my father passed in 86 and we have left 16 or 18 60-s ford trucks just sit inside the pole barn, I will post some pics, I have no time to mess with them but have never been into sending them to the crusher.
