Next time.........Air chisel and a torch. Heat the sleeve and chisel like hell! Done it 100's of times. I dont care for the cutting tool method because (1)..its hard to get in the area you want for an even cut, and (2) you never know exactly how deep your cutting and you dont want to damage the flange for the new one to go on.

Ive never had vibration after installing a new one unless it wasnt on correctly. Maybe it isnt on all the way or its jammed on wrong. Did you mark your drivline so the splines line back up in the exact same slots? One tooth off with cause BAD vibration

the rear u-joint ended up also being bad. by hand if felt good and tight but as soon as they put a screw driver and a breaker bar to it it showed it was toast......
