Default New Army Basic Training

Wow, Seriously this is some B.S. I don't see how the Army expects Soldiers to survive in combat if they are treated this way. There is a method to the madness. The whole point to Basic Training/ Boot Camp is to be prepared to operate in combat under stress and uncomfortable conditions.

I agree
I guess soliders aint what they used to be
and could you imagin a female DI

read this artical BigT posted some time ago
I kinda agree because of all the house to house stuff, close Combat in the city (something I never saw)
but what if your thrown out in the bush and have to survive and evade
I guess 'times they are a chang'en"
I still run several miles a week

I have been very impressed with the advent of the M-4 and the SAW
but have always relied on my 1911 due to conditions and I slept with a M870
