Default 78 f150 351m owners who have replaced there intake! READ PLEASE!

Ok i just wander for all of you guys who bought your f150 4x4 with a 2bbl intake and replaced it with a 4bbl, how hard was it. Did you have a problem with frozen bolts? Did anybody have bolts break? I am still deciding if i want to do this. i may just buy a new 2bbl carb and leave the stock intake on it. I am just terrified of frozen and breaking bolts off in the engine. Any tips are so very welcome!! how long did it take you to do the job, any tip small or large is very very helpful! thanks you GURU'S

I replaced my intake, it wasn't bad at all. I didn't have any frozen bolts, I didn't have any when I did my heads either.

Fel-Pro make a good no leak intake gasket
bolts should not be a problem on the intake
and use pleanty of RTV on the rear and front of the block
