Default Buying a 1997 f250 for parts??

First I'd like to say that I look forward to learning for all the folks here. I have a 1997 f350 crewcab 4x4 with 230k. I pull a 30ft 5th (8000lb) wheel camper with it, and for the most part it does pretty well. That is until you hit a hill, no power. All I have done to it is straight pipe the exhaust, cold air, and a Tps chip. With that said, my question is this. My bestfreind has a 1999 f250 superduty with 130k miles that is awesome. New injectors, new suspension, pulls his 12,000lb camper like its not back there....and it just was wrecked on the passenger side which cracked the crank case. I have the chance to buy it from the insurance co for $4000. My question is....can any of those parts fit my truck? Tranny? Injectors? Shocks? Suspension? Is it worth buying for 4k?
Thank you in advance for any insight to this.
