Exclamation NEWBIE from MN, USA

Hello and thanks for the add I'm from Minnesota, USA and about to be starting a resto-mod on a 1950-52 ford f1 I don't know which year because I was just given permission from my wife to buy one and start the project. I come from a autobody, and restoration background boats, motorcycles, but mostly cars. I worked for a restoration company for a few years before getting out of the industry due to seeing too many people getting injured. now I only have a desire to have my own projects. lately its been motorcycles and my boat but my wife's grandpa was a designer at ford in the 50's through the early 70s so I'm doing this for her and him,. I always loved the curves of the early 50s trucks so that's what I'm starting with but going to make sure that it has modern drivetrain and suspension for road trips with wife. It wont be a big dollar build and ill be doing all the work myself but I have the knowledge still have all my tools so I should be able to handle it and I have you guys if I ever have any questions. Thanks for welcoming me here once again.

Central Florida welcomes you to the club. Be sure to post pics of the build as you go. Where in Minnesota? I've done some hunting up in Meadowlands/Toivola area in the early 2000's. beautiful country up there.
