Default Zappers 2008 F250 "Jake" picture heavy.

I'm 1 of those people that name all their vehicles. I modify vehicles for my own love. I will show them a little but I always do it for me.

Jake. Daily driver/tow rig.
2008 F250 Crew cab, Short Bed, 6.4, auto, FX4.

Came with black interior, tow command, moon roof, single disk sirus radio, reverse sensor and all the FX4/XLT options. It was down in Va so my dealer went down and brought it up to PA.

The day it arrived at the dealer. Told them to remove the FX4 decal and no dealer decal.

Day I picked him up. Traded my 01 F250 5.4.

A week later I went wheeling in Ohio.

The First thing I did was had my truxcedo shorted to the 6.5 bed, line of fire, POWMIA overlay for the rear emblem, Recon clearance lenses, Recon mirror LED both smoked and a cheap stealbay LED 3rd.

On the trip to Ohio my arm would sweat like crazy on the center arm rest. So I had the local shop cover it in factory fabric. No more sweat arm.

Ford doesn't like to illuminate their cup holders so I did. Pepboy ricer section LED's.

He came with zero tint. So I had to fix that. 40% front and 20% on the rear 3 windows.

Don't like the LED brake lights out there and didn't want to get tickets for nightshade so out came the paint.

3rd brake light went bad so I did the same to the stock light.

Went with carriage works cut out black grills.

Got some stealbay projector headlights. Also put stealth bulbs in the turn.

Added Recon bedlights as puddle lights.

And the last mod for now.
I painted the fender vents but left the grill to show diesel. Hated the nasty looking stainless of the tailpipe so that got the high temp paint..

As of yesterday I ordered the NFab wheel-wheel step tubes in black. Should be here in 10 days or so. I'll keep this updated as I go.

Nice new clean picture.

Update
Got them on and LOVE the new look!!

But who can spot the modification to the mod?

I guess I am just that picky that I had to. The 6 pinch weld bold heads were shiny, so I had to paint them.

Future mods:
Leveling kit.
35" E rated tires
18x9 gun metal/black rims.
Black DPF back dual exhaust.
Who know what else. LOL

Power is awesome. I have to set the cruise or I will be in trouble with the law.

Loaded with Haze and the trailer. I get 9-10 MPG at 65-70.

Very, very nice truck! Love the mods and great idea with the arm rest.
We have a very nice photo gallery here at FTC. It works just like photobucket
and all the other image sharing sites. Why dont you give it a try. You can also
post the images from here onto other sites!

Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work with your truck! It does need a
FordTruckClub sticker on it. I am getting ready to ship out some stickers to a
few members. Care to get in on it!
