Default bronco ps upgrade/ psc or new pump ?

Any help would be appreciated on upgrade p.s. pump on my 1979 bronco. I was running 35" tires on it with a stock pump and it worked with a bit of lock up and a lot of howl, new fluid didn't help. Truck was parked for 4 years while i worked on everyone elses trucks, until today. I am curently changing over to a 460 w cj heads and 38.5 boggers. I am not familar with Ford ps upgrades. Should I just replace the p.s. pump with new or change up to a psc system. I used to mud drag it but it will mostly see street now with the odd stint in the mud for fun. Anyone have any ideas.

Hey mudman,

just so you weren't wondering what was going on. I relocated your original post to the correct forum. And I deleted the second post above since it was a re-post of your original.

i'm not that familiar with the subject of your question. However, I'm sure a member will be along shortly that will gladly help you out.
