Default New from Kansas

Hi, my name is David, and I recently picked up a 95 F150 XLT SuperCab in a partial trade for my old '97 Cobra project. It definitely needs some work, but I think it's in decent shape. I'm actually pretty excited about it, especially since my wife loves it (she's a K-State fan... bleh). Here are some pictures from the previous owner. All the stickers have been removed, the trash in the bed emptied, and the black mark on the front of the bed came off with a good wash...

Welcome to the club, nice truck! We have the same year F150! Thanks for sharing some pics! When you get a chance, can you upload some pics to the FTC Gallery or FTC Garage!

So what do you have planned for her?

I think I already added it to the garage. I don't have any new pics, since I just got it a few days ago. Although, giving it a good wash has made a pretty significant difference.

Plans? It obviously needs some bodywork, rust repair, and paint, but that falls pretty low on the list right now. It's got quite a few miles, and leaves small oil puddles on my driveway, so some maintenance is in order at the very least. I also got a 93 mustang in the deal with a 302 that has a few goodies on it (i.e. GT40P heads, TFS springs, Comp push rods, Lunati 51014, Forged TRW pistons). I'm thinking of swapping something bigger into the mustang, and cleaning/fixing up that 302 for the truck. Does that sound feasible? Believe it or not, I'm also thinking about lifting it as well, even though it's only 2wd. I've had lowered/bagged trucks in the past, and to me, it's too much of a pain to drive/maintain.

sounds like a nice setup, if you have a MAF 302 in it now the swap should go without any major problems

my truck is only 2wd and love it! lol ill be selling my lift in another month or so because im doing a soilid axle swap, the link is in my signature
