No updates on this guy really, I'm gonna steal a bell housing off a stripped chassis out back. Then go get a flywheel and clutch. The motor and trans will be mostly ready to bolt in after that.

Do we have a how to on painting or primering? Ive never shot paint or primer in my life but want to seal up these fenders and my 67 fairlane door. So air tools for prep would be nice to know what works well with general panel work, as well as mixing generics

Hell I use rattle can primer all the time, that's what's on my Bronco but I did that cause I gotta cut and patch the rear wheel wells.

Well i kinda want to learn because the girlfriend thinks i should paint my dump truck bright orange with a camo bed, sounds good to me lol. Learning to primer on fenders sounds like a good start

Got the 5.0 up on a stand now, looking at it, I'm slightly confused as to the best method to delete the smog system? What has been being done with the ports on the back of the heads? I haven't pulled anything yet, just happened to stare at it for a minute thinking its fugly.

You can take the crossover off and flip it and bolt it back on, or find a bolt that will fit the hole where the exhaust comes out and thread the bolt in, which is what I did.
