Default Swapping Dash Lights

Anyone ever swap out their dash lights? I'm thinking about doing it with some blue LED's. A buddy of mine did with his focus and it looks really good, but he said it was a pain to try to get the needles all lined back up correctly. Anyone got advice?

i'd search for an adapter kit to see if anybody has made it "simple" yet

an unloaded gun is just an expensive paperwieght

you cant fix stupid - but remove warning labels and we can greatly reduce its main offenders !!

The led's are an exact match to the type of bulb, 194s. I'm not worried about any of that, the only thing I'm worried about is if the needles will get all messed up when pulling them off, and putting them back on so they read correctly. Should I just be able to pull them off and put them back on with no issues? My buddies focus had to be set up perfectly or else the needles would point to the wrong spot.

Haha smart idea. My truck just needs some TLC and i'm getting sick of seeing the green lights there. It's a cheap fix to make a huge difference.

i saw a post a long time ago on another site about it. the lights are meant to be blue .. they actually are put in blue but there is a nother light or something that interferes which makes it green. when i looked on there it was complicated. I will try and find it.

I found a thread on another site that he swapped out the lights which were a white light, all the numbers on the dash were actually filmed with a green film. The 2008 F150's don't appear to have a green film, it seems like the light is actually green...I'm thinking I'm just going to dive right in and start tearing stuff apart...ya know...the smart way of doing things I wanna swap out the lights for LED's no matter what...Crisper light. Lemme know if you find that thread.
