Default F250 gear options

just bought a truck with a 1978 F250 4X4 chassis and a 390, geared way to low for my purposes...what options do I have to get more highway worthy>

crawl under there and take a photo of the rear axle and look for a tag on one of the bolts so we can figure out what you have now

Probably need to know what front axle is in there too.

the numbers on my rear are: C30 255, does that help ID what Ive got? many thanks for any input

a bit more work informs me it is a Dana 80 ten bolt with fill plug....what optional higher rear gears are available?
