Default Clutch pedal goes to floor

I was driving my truck the other day engaged the clutch and it stayed to the floor and didnt come back up. What is the cause of this and what is a solution

Is the pedal stuck on the floor? Is the clutch engaged or disengaged? Have you checked the fluid reservoir? Have you looked in the bottom of the bellhousing for leaks? Is there any fluid leaking through the firewall above the clutch pedal?

Also the plastic bushing holding the pedal arm to the master cylinder linkage may have come apart. Had that happen before, no fun in traffic.
