The ones on here are a dual beam light...we have inspections here, but not so strict like you guys.:) A cop might pull u over and give you X amount of days to get it fixed, also if he thinks the vehicle is unsafe for any reason can order you to get one as well. Ya there isnt any street lights from the city to my area...I like brighter/further light so sounds like the 6k's are for me...thanx.

Scott, yoU got to be carefUl with the HID kits Up here.
They mess Up with the daytime driving lights.
I believe yoU need a special wiring harness/relay for the daytime lights
and they maybe hard to get.

You have those up there?

One more thing, remember to turn your auto headlights off or you will kill the life of the bulb. When they go off to start the truck and back on, it's bad for the bulb.

not sure about up north, but where i live there are no inspections, so that's not an issue. and they do have hi/lo kits for the same price.

Yes I watched a clip on it...it is because of people like us puttin them in vehicles that werent originally intended for HID bulb use. Creating a heck of a glare for on-coming traffic and causing accidents.

WOW BATES, never knew. Hey, why don't you advertise on the site BATES?

Scott, I can't speak for up north, but here, they don't mess with you, only time you have a problem is if they get multiple complaints or they pull you over for another infraction.

I would look into it though just to be on the safe side. The $140 you spend might be on top of a hefty fine.
