Default 1991 5.8 w with ovdrive tranny into 93 f250

First let me start by saying hello to everyone and thanks. I have 1993 f250 4x4 5.8 with a c6 tranny. Motor is weak and tranny is solid but no overdrive. Sucks fuel bad. I also have a 1990 f150 4x4 with 5.8 and override tranny dont know if its aod or e40d. Its motor is rebuilt and so is tranny but the body is wrecked. My question is what do i need from donor truck in order to get it in my f250 as far as tranny. I know the motor will work. But not sure about the rest. Thanks.

I'm 99% sure it's a E4OD. I don't believe that the 5.8 ever used the AOD, to make sure, check your door jamb sticker for the TRANS code. AOD is "T", E4OD is "E". Also, the AOD quadrant is PRN(D)D1, the E4OD is PRND21 with a separate overdrive lockout button.

Your issue is going to be the PCM and wiring. The C6 is not electronically controlled, the E4OD is. I don't know if you can simply use the F150 PCM and harness.
