Default outboard motor swap

my project for the week

pulling the 112





pulling/mounting the 200






after we mounted the new 225 mercury optimax



i cant wait to get my boat on the water, still gotta adapt the wiring harness, get some hydraulic lines for the steering and a prop, should run upper 50's or low 60's

'95 F150 XLT, reg cab long bed, swapped 351w,
4.56 gears, 4-link SAS, 14" coil overs.

'04 F250 Lariat, crew cab short bed 4x4 6.0L PSD, 3.73 gears, straight piped,
sinister coolant filter, welded egr, CAT EC-1 coolant, blue spring.
60 gallon fuel tank/tool box, SCT X4 w/IDP custom tunes, SOON TO BE STUDDED!!

I sure wish I lived closer you could take me fishen in exchange for some labor
many many Moons ago we had a 75 Johnson with electric choke

we heard today that 'tar balls' are washing up on Destin & Panama City
but the main brut is headed South to the Keys
also heard that the amount of oil released every 4 days is equal to 1 "VALDEZE"

went out and did some fishing this morn, caught 3 red fish, 2 trout, 2 mangrove snapper, and 1 lady fish... not a bad day but it beats being at work!



the finish result! got 53 mph today, need a different prop, should get atleast 55 to 57...

idle to 45.

sounds like you about got your Boat 'dialed in'
when I catch Ladyfish, I point it at someone else, if you know what I mean LOL

haha yeah

i just need to change the prop out and it'll be set, running a 23" pitch 4-blade, should be running a 21" 4-blade or 23" 3-blade, motor needs to spin 5500 rpms and im only getting 4900

I put one of the merc 'high 5' propes on my cruiser and it made a big differance over the 3 blade; hole shot & top end
