The bulbs you buy all depend on your budget. A pair of my bulbs are 60 dollars, I know a few guys whos bulbs cost more. The Silverstar Ultra is a good bulb from what I heard. Ever think about going with an LED style bulb?

If you do a search for Bates88, he did a thread with pics on two different style bulbs and showed the difference in brightness. Would be a solid thread for bulb info I believe.

Okay thanks.
Deffinitely not going LED.. yet.
I just need to get my lights working well enough to drive safely.
Maybe later on, with the clear corner lights, I'll go LED.

Hey RUSSO, I changed mine out with PIAA EXTREME WHITES and pardon the pun, have been night and day difference. The bulbs weren't cheap but most definitely worth it. Went from that faded factory yellow tinge to a bright white. Oncoming traffic thinks I'm driving with the high beams on though, until I flash them back!

What was the wattage on them? I am down right confused looking at their bulbs.
Where did you order from and how much did they end up costing.
If my lights clean up good enough I may consider getting them.

Here's the info on the actual bulbs.

http://www.piaa.com/Bulbs/Bulbs-H13.html

They retail about $90 canadian for the pair, not sure what they are worth in the states.
I bought them when I was still working at an aftermarket truck accessory place so I got them for cost.
I even changed out my driving light bulbs to match, those I had to go with PUTCO's though. (even VISIONX I believe they are called will work).

Okay, I'm not spending that much then. Later.
For now I think I'll just get some sylvania's for 30-40

Heard some good things about Sylvannia's but don't know how bright they are. Good luck.

LEDs are for turn signals, side markers and brake lights, they are in no way bright enough for headlights.

The PIAAs are definately a step above the rest, you get what you pay for. I heard good thing about the Sylvania Ultras and Silverstars too.
