Heres a little update. I put a new set of points, plugs and rotor in. They came with the truck in the Glovebox. Also put a new cap and wires. Put a kit in the Carb. Got the brakes bled and up and going. Got the Hydrauliic Clutch working.
I ran it first off a temporary tank so the old Gasoline from the Tank could all run out in a container. Put fresh gas in the tank after it went dry. And also a new fuel filter.
Checked all the air pressure. Took it for about a ten miles drive. Ran really nice. Drove decent too. Heater works, Horn works. Wipers work, Headlights and tailight work. Only things I have found that I need to figure out yet is why the Blinkers and brake lights are not working. Could just be a fuse hopefully that is knocking them both out together..
I greased all the zerks in the steering and driveline. I need to check all the grease levels in the Differentials and the Tranny/ Transfer case. Do all those just use the same 80 90 gear oil? Oil and filter change yet and that will be it till I decide whether to sell it or keep it..
Also what goes in the front axle out at the ends.. Looks like there is a plug on each side. Does 80 90 in those balls too?
Also removed the Plow and here is a pic without it on. The frame is not cut thank God.. But the Bumper is gone now. How hard is that going to be to find? Will other years work? The headlight bezels are gone too. May be kinda hard to find those also. Thanks

Lmctruck.com and National Parts Depot would be your best bet for a bumper and what not. NPD would probably be your best bet as LMC is a bit pricey and Customer Service isn't as good as it used to be. Looks a bunch better without the plow!!

Thanks, The Depot one does not list much for the 59 60 I could find. Seems they skip that Era..I like the Idea of the LMC place as it is just south of me in Kansas..

I like this truck, but I think it is going to go, The main reason is I think it is going to be even worse on mileage than I thought. I could live with maybe 12 MPG for a occasional drive. But I swear I put 3 gallons in and it ran out in about 16 miles of Highway and gravel road driving..LOL
I have a 1981 F100 Flareside with a manual tranny and a 300 six. One has to go and I think it makes more sense to keep the 81. Alot more sensible driver all around I think. Really would like to fix the 60 up though..
If you can talk me into keeping the 60 with good reasons. I sure would like that
Thanks

if I lived closer I'd take I off your hands
the 3 gals you added to the empty tank gave you probably less than a gallon to run on
