Runs Like New
thanks for the list glc, got a loaner 'Leslie Tool'
completed the plug change this AM
no broken plugs
I attribute this to letting the carb cleaner soak, and using a in & out motion to remove plugs
I followed the TSB, but I used Kroil, let it soak overnight before turning a plug
added more Kroil the next morning, turned each plug 1/4 turn and let it sit over night
then added MC carb cleaned to each plug in the AM, added a teaspoon full twice to each plug through the day and let it soak over night
next morning I slowly worked each plug back & forth, turned 2 turns added more carb cleaner and did the same to the next plug
went back to the first plug and each one came out
vacuumed the cylinder out of any liquid with a hose taped to the shop vac hose
added anti seize to the barrel installed the new plugs, boots & springs
3 days for soak
1 day install
runs like New
total cost = $132.43
2 cinder blocks and a 2x12 makes a good stool to stand on

I bought this Truck new in '06
has 78,000 miles
other than routine maintenance and a set of tires
this is the first money I have had to spend on it
