Default 1997 F350 7.5L Loss of Power

I have a 1997 F350 7.5L gas that will run fine when temps are under 75 degrees, but when temperature climb and after a full day of use the truck has a loss of power and wants to stall out. It won't go over 25 mph....I have changed the plugs, wires, fuel regulator, distributor cap, fuel filter....I have been told that it is the fuel pump (that is failing) and the heat makes it act up.....does any have any insight?
