Meh, they marketed it in the '70 challenger as a Hemi.

Every dodge I've worked on is junk. One literally made it down the driveway and he was back with more issues. I'd never buy one of those third gen piles. There's a local one that's been passed around between some kids, on it's 7th engine, fourth trans, lord knows what # clutch, two rear ends, multiple transfer cases and every other issue you can think of. Ain't no way it's worth 15k either, you could get a late third gen crew cab hemi for that. And "shitomax" diesel? you kiddin me?

We had a 2002 Quad Cab 1500 with the 4.7 and Auto, had it for 3 years, and the only problem with it was the fuel mileage, never had any other problem. I've got a neighbor who has a 2005 Quad Cab 1500 4x4 he bought new in 2005, he hasn't had one bit of trouble with it in the 150k miles or so he's put on it, and he drive's it everyday. It's like cat said, every vehicle has it's own problems, but I don't foresee any with this one in the near future, it's made 92k and has had all regularly scheduled maintenance done on it. Autocheck.com gave it a score of 93 when other's the same have a score of between 48-83.

And honestly, that dodge you refer of that the "kids" have, they're probably redlight to redlight racing that thing, and that's hard on any vehicle.

Doesn't Duramax sound like a name for a high flow tampon?

DO WHAT????? Your kidding right? You must be talking about a Powerstroke. Isuzu trucks are sold at Ford dealerships not Chevy dealers. Isuzu filters are interchangeable with strokers. duramax IS junk but I know of some that will flat out eat a Stroker or Cummins alive. I dont care for them but thats what ya get out of a chevy. Guess you could always go thru the PITA of an engine swap to a 24v Cummins

Lowriders are for guys who can't get it up!
Sissy's drive 2wd's! (you know who you are!!)

Isuzu and GM have had a partnership for about three decades now. The Chevy Luv (whatta name for a truck!) was all Isuzu. The Chevy (Geo) Storm was an Isuzu. Sunfires and Cavaliers had Isuzu transmissions in them and lets not forget the Isuzu Hombre (an S10 with a bastard child front end) Im sure there's more. I dont recall one Ford product sharing anything with Isuzu. Mazda yes, but we all know that there wouldn't be a Mazda without Ford.
