Default Fuel gauge issue

Greetings:
I have a 1967 Ford f100 six cylinder truck.
The fuel gauge has become inoperative and I have had to rely on miles driven to determine when to refuel.
I live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado a southern suburb of Denver and would like a referral to a classic truck mechanic if someone knows of one in my area.
Thank you.
