Default Bed Removal

I have to remove the bed on my 1996 F150 Supercab to replace the front fuel pump. My rear fuel pump is filling up the front tank. I have removed the bed before on a Ranger but was wondering if anyone can tell me how many bolts and what size hold the bed on a 1996 F150? I crawled under and looked but didn't see as many as I thought I should.

so there ain't any bolts (4 or 6) on the bed
remove fuel neck and wiring (lights)
find some help and lift it off

I may be easier to just drop the tank
just get it low on fuel to make it lighter

some times the bed bolts wont move & strip or break off

Thanks for the info JSoko.
I did one once by dropping the tank and had a hard time reconnecting the fuel lines and wires. There wasn't enough slack to hook up the wires and hoses when the tank was down. When you put the tank up into position where the wires and hoses would reach there wasn't enough space to get your hand in to hook them up. Plus you couldn't see very well to make sure everything was connected.
I guess I will try to raise the bed but if the bed bolts strip or turn I will drop the tank.
Thanks.

If the bolts won't move easily
spray and let them sit awhile
other option would be to cut them off, or shear/break them off with extra leverage

Default Bed removal

I finally got around to replacing the front fuel pump last weekend. If anyone is about to attempt it, the nuts underneath are 18mm. I had to get some universal sockets to get them all and had to take a side grinder to one of them. I jacked the bed up, put 4x4's between the bed and the frame, and slid it to the rear about 2 feet for access. I didn't have to drop the bumper. I didn't lift the bed all the way off like most people do because it has a heavy lid and bed liner on it. It took about 2 weekends since I had trouble with the bolts but it is in and working fine now.
