Default Help

Hi Folks,
I just joined and wish I had a long time ago. I am on 4x4 number 28 (95% Fords) and have been stumped. I have a 1996 F250 with a 7.5 460. I only get to drive it once in a while and when I got in it last time it would turn over but not start. I gave it the once over and found no spark. I have checked the fuses in the engine compartment and the cab. I have replaced the ignition coil, ignition module and the distributor but still have no spark. It was suggested that it could be the crankshaft position sensor but I have found conflicting information as to whether I actually have one. Any help would be appretiated.

If it does have one, I would think you could look around the harmonic balancer and see it. maybe on the passenger side.

I think the only 460's that have a CPS are California mass air models.
