Yeah that was one of the dumbest ideas Ford had on those clips. My 2000 F150 had them and I nearly sh*t myself when I was trying to take them off. I replaced them with spring clips and it worked fine

Dont admire my truck too much, your daughter is probably in my back seat

I was going to change my fuel filter also and I bought an assortment pack of the tools needed to do the job cause I didn't know what size I actually needed.I gave up!!! on trying to change it and the tool didn't work for shit,so I left it alone for now and I will let my mechanic do it...lol

I read the thing about the smilies, and posting from a site that was not a supporter
I was refering to the referance to SuperMotors info
thats a good artical but you need the words also, so I just put up the link
is this ok to do[as I did above] dont want to rock the boat/seesaw

how goes it in The Great North
very HOT down here
crows were sitting on top of power pole,
they had their mouths open and tongue hanging out trying to cool off,
when I blasted them with aload of #4's
I hate those SOB's, sad thing is they know it and taunt me, and staying out of range when I'm around
