Arrow Police: Man Beaten Over Pair Of Shoes In Carroll Township

CARROLL TOWNSHIP, Pa. --A Monongahela man is accused of severely beating another man over a pair of shoes Monday evening in Carroll Township.

Frank Vince, 39, is charged with aggravated assault and recklessly endangering another person, among other charges.

According to police, Vince punched Barry Daube and slammed his head several times against the pavement along Howard Street.

Daube was flown to Allegheny General Hospital, where he is in fair condition.

Police said the beating was the result of an argument over a child's pair of shoes, although they did not elaborate.
