Smile Wyoming Fords

Hello fellow Ford owners:
I recently Purchased my First Ford 4X4 That I owned Back in 1977. A 77
F250 Regular cab 4X4 with one ton front end. Ater years of seperation I
was excited about re-owning my first truck. But as I was researching parts,
and infomation I realized I have a 77 250 HIGHBOY . Non mate transfer case
351M ,4speed,1 ton front end (large hubs) and approx 4" higher than a
77 1/2.
I live in Gillette Wyo, work at a coal mine as a Mechanic and own a 2011 F250 Diesel and now my old 1977 wich I am getting back to running condition. And
surfing the internet is how I wound up here....

I'm now sorry I got rid of my '77 last year the fool I sold it to lead me to belive he was goin to restore it so I felt good about letting it go
well he was to give the rear end back and when I called, his dad said he kept the bed & cab and took the rest to the scrap yard. I'm glad I kept the 9" carrier

to FTC! I wish I still had my First and Second 79's.. The second one was the best of all, F150 with a factory 460 only factory in 9% of trucks that year.. I was sad to sell it but I couldn't get it running and didn't have the money to get it running.

Welcome to the club. I've always like the high boy trucks and the 77 in particular. But who doesn't?
