Default 1950 ford F-1

Hello All, I am considering purchasing this 1950 for f-1, it has a 239 ci flathead, the owner is asking 18,000 for it, what is your take on it? The vehicle is 5 hours away so i havent seen it in person as of yet. What would be a fair price, for this truck in your opinion, strickly from the pics.

That all depends. If that is what you want and it is in the condition that warrants that price, then for you it is worth it. My banker in early 2000's kept an up to date old car price guide. See if you can locate one of those. I have not done a search myself, but I bet somewhere on the net there is one. Try several different ones and search for like truck and condition to see what the owners are asking. I know there is a F-1 club and see what info they have to offer. Couldn't get pic's to enlarge, but it looked sweet. Don't go by the tv shows.

1993 F150 XLT, 5.8 with E40D, Tow and Handling Package. Fully loaded from factory as truck was special order. Mods: Extang Snap on bed cover. 2" drop in rear, Six Liter Tuneup, NOS 66-72 Ford Air Foil Antenna, Planet Auto Red Ford Oval (grille). Diamond Clear Headlight Package, Bumper Guards, F350 Brake Conversion, Slotted/Drilled Front Rotors, 3 row alum radiator with Mk VIII elec fan. and much more to come!
