Default lifters

after 24 hours in the wrong section,.....i'll try again. found some ford racing hydraulic roller lifters on summit. wondering if anyone has had good results with these on a 302? not looking for power gain,..just reliability. wouldn't mind finding a kit that has lifters and push rods with new springs,...if somebody has any suggestions.

when I did my 302 I consulted a local Auto Machine shop
it's a popular shop that does a lot of work for the local dirt track racers

other than that, with only 4 active members and you being one of them, now only 2 others for possible info

glc, knows some stuff

good luck on your choice

Thanks. Maybe I'll see if there is a machine shop in the area here with someone who isn't a Chevy homer (most car guys around here are). Maybe glc will shed some light and share some wisdom.

Sorry, I don't have anything to say about this. I've never built a 302. I think I'd consider sticking with stock, you can get a good price from Tasca but I don't know how the cost compares to aftermarket.
