Anybody got the Part Number for the fan clutch holder tool? Have to have that stupid POS to even get the fan clutch off!!

Got the Belt, Hoses, vac lines and PS Pump lines undone, found gas in the vac lines, pulled the MAP sensor vac line off and it was saturated with gas on the inside, so that means I'll have to replace it and the FPR once I pull the engine out...

Rent the fan puller at the parts store.
If you want to pull the fuel lines you can take them off at the rubber end on the back of the engine, it's just the little clips like the fuel filter uses. The metal lines connect into the rail and need the fuel line tool there.

Didn't touch anything today, O'Reilly's wants $75.99 to rent the fan clutch removal tool. Don't have that kind of money at the moment, and don't want to be out of pocket of that much at the moment, anyone know the size of the nut so I can go buy an open end wrench to remove it?

I've got Side Winder

I've gotta wait til www.gunpartscorp.com puts my money back in my account before I can go get the wrench.

How are you set for the weekend of the 22/23rd?

No Bueno, Celebrating the Wifey's 30th Birthday.

Sucks to hear about the Ruger. Have you thought about sending it to them and having it fixed?

Went to the pawn shop I deal with today to see if he might have a wrench that would fit the nut on the fan clutch, couldn't find the actual size, he let me borrow an 18" Crescent wrench, told me to bring it back when I was done with it, got the fan off, took the fan and his wrench back up there, it's either a 36mm or a 1 7/16" Nut, 36mm is dead on, 1 7/16" will do in a pinch. Only has a Box End 1 7/16" so when he closes for the day he's gonna see if he has one at home, told me if I can't find anything, and he can't find anything I'm more than welcome to borrow the Crescent wrench anytime.

Biker, I don't want to ship the gun like it is in it's current state. Even if I could fix it, I wouldn't feel comfortable selling it to a friend who would depend his life or his families lives upon it to go bang and repeat.

I know where a Sig Sauer P226 .40S&W is, includes a .357Sig barrel, $700 but I'll do the same deal with you, specially since all you've done for me. Unless you'd like a 1911. Sig is SA/DA, 1911 is SA, or I can get one of the Polymer Wunders, in .40 or .45ACP.

By polymer under, do you mean Glock?
