I am restoring a ford f100 in Edmonton AB. Canada and trying to locate a glove box latch and the wire retainer for ashtray. Any suggestions would be fine.

Try Midwest Early Ford, https://midwestearlyford.com/. They're usually pretty good with some of the smaller stuff like that. Also LMC, http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fa/full.aspx?Page=52.
Good luck
